Jyotika Singh

Principal Consultant, Innovation & Strategy (WHC)
HSJ

As a dedicated and experienced pharmacist with over 20 years of service within the NHS, I have honed a comprehensive skill set working across leading NHS Trusts in various clinical, managerial, and consultancy roles. My extensive background has provided me with on-the-ground knowledge and experience in medicines management, governance, and the establishment of services across large organisations. My career has involved significant contributions to getting products onto hospital formularies and developing business cases for new services and pathways.

In my career, I have led the national antimicrobial stewardship agenda at the Department of Health as part of the Healthcare Associated Infection program and spearheaded the thrombosis and medication safety agenda within my organisation. My work has also encompassed the introduction of digital technology and equipment to enhance healthcare services.

My clinical expertise spans a broad spectrum, including medical admissions and A&E, oncology aseptic services, oncology satellite pharmacy provisions, HIV, antibiotics, surgery, neurosciences, anticoagulation, theatres, and preoperative care. I have also collaborated with private healthcare providers, further broadening my clinical and operational perspectives.

After earning an Executive MBA from Imperial Business School, I transitioned into consulting, as Principal Consultant where I partner and support clients focusing on market access and leveraging on my deep understanding of the UK healthcare system to guide pharmaceutical and med tech companies through the complexities of bringing their products to market. Working with the HSJ assets I can support the understanding of market data, insight, access and create compelling engagement tools for the NHS and its stakeholders.
